General measurement tips:
1) Whenever possible, measure first thing in the morning
before the natural swelling in the legs and ankles begins.
2) When measuring circumference (around the ankle or thigh),
take snug measurements on the skin, not over socks or slacks.
Take care not to draw the tape too tight, causing a depression on the skin,
or too loose where there is slack.
For the below knee models (#865, 8865, 845 and 8845),
a. measure
around the smallest part of the ankle just above the ankle bone,
b. around the
widest part of the calf,
c. then measure
the length of the leg from the heel at the floor to the bend in the knee.
